Quick Start Guide

How to Use Askuala

Askuala is a structured exam-prep app built for Ethiopian licensing students. Here's everything you need to know to get started.

1

Browse Programs

Visit the Programs page to explore all available study plans. Each program shows the target exam, duration, and a brief overview. Programs marked 'Coming Soon' are being developed.

Only programs marked 'Available Now' have full study plans.

2

Enroll in a Program

Tap 'Enroll' on any available program. Once enrolled, the program appears on your Dashboard with a progress tracker. You can enroll in multiple programs simultaneously.

Enrolling is free and instant — no account needed.

3

Track Your Progress

Your Dashboard shows all enrolled programs in an accordion. Expand any program to see its full overview — monthly progress bars, domain weights, and a plan-at-a-glance.

Progress is automatically saved to your device as you check off topics.

4

Study Month by Month

Use the 'Months' button in the bottom navigation to jump to any month's detailed study plan. Each month has goals, a weekly schedule, and a topic checklist to track.

The bottom nav shows 'Month X' and a completion % when you're inside a month.

5

Check Off Topics

Inside each month, check off topics as you complete them. Checked items are highlighted and your overall progress updates instantly. The month header shows how many items are done.

You can also expand individual weeks to see the detailed task breakdown.

6

Download for Offline Study

In Settings → Manage Programs, tap 'Work Offline' on any enrolled program. This downloads the program pages to your device so you can study anywhere — even without internet.

Only programs you explicitly download work offline. Downloading requires a one-time internet connection.

7

Install as an App

Askuala is a Progressive Web App. Tap 'Install' when prompted (or visit Settings → App) to add it to your home screen. It opens full-screen like a native app — no App Store required.

On iOS: tap the Share button in Safari → 'Add to Home Screen'.

8

Study Offline

Once a program is downloaded, you can open Askuala without an internet connection. Your progress is still tracked and saved locally, and will persist when you come back online.

Keep in mind: only downloaded programs are available offline, not the entire app.
